At Nova Architectura, we strive to redefine the boundaries of architectural design by merging cinematic influences with innovative spatial concepts. Our latest project, inspired by the question, « To what extent can architecture influence the cinematic world? » showcases our ability to blend art, function, and emotion in a cohesive architectural experience.
Design in Details
This project embodies a cinematic city, where the essence of film production is captured through space, pathway, and light. The design reflects the unique blend of touristic and artistic elements characteristic of Marrakech, making it an ideal location for cinematic exploration.
The architectural layout includes spaces dedicated to preparation, exhibition, artistic creation, and post-production, each thoughtfully designed to facilitate various aspects of cinematic production. The clear and simple circulation pathways, complemented by expansive workshop areas, provide the flexibility needed for creating diverse film sets and decorations.
Inside, the spaces are crafted to evoke emotion and creativity. Visitors are invited to embark on a journey where they can create their own films, guided by the principles of spatial appropriation, framing, and emotional resonance. The open-plan layout, with large windows, ensures that natural light floods the interiors, enhancing the creative atmosphere.
Outside, the project features beautifully landscaped areas and spacious terraces, offering an inviting environment for relaxation and reflection. The design ensures privacy and confidentiality for film shoots while integrating public engagement areas, maintaining a balance between openness and seclusion.
